Hello faithful readers. LOL

Anyway, my personal site was on Drupal 7 and bootstrap 3. Drupal 7 was released in 2011 and Bootstrap 3 in 2013. One should consider the age of code similar to dog years. 7 years for a site theme puts it square in middle age. It’s best years are over. 9 years for Drupal is well into retirement age.

I decided I wanted to work on upgrading my site and have built it using Drupal 8 and Bootstrap 4. It was a great learning experience, particularly the Bootstrap 4 options for Drupal, which are meager. Now it’s up to date with mainstream Drupal stuff. It’s shiny and new and fast, what else could one ask for?

I also upgraded to a real CloudFlare account, 100% SSL, and actual SMTP email using the domain instead of my Gmail address. You know... all official-like.

My plan is to copy some of my previous Drupal articles here, post new ones, and use it to coordinate my D&D game. I only have like 4 worthy of doing that with, but I still keep putting it off.

Go ahead and hit refresh a few times and enjoy the incredible speed and efficiency of my new site.

It’s glorious.
